Os estudos voltados para uso e ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o dos solos tornaram-se imprescind\u00edveis para a compreens\u00e3o das formas pelas quais o espa\u00e7o geogr\u00e1fico e a sua vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 sendo ocupado e explorada. Deste modo, o objetivo foi mapear o uso de ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o do solo da Sub\u00e1rea do Endorreico Cubango-Okavango do Cuando Cubango, com vista a subsidiar melhorias nos \u00e2mbitos de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental e desenvolvimento socioecon\u00f4mico na regi\u00e3o. A metodologia adotada para o mapeamento do uso de ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o do solo foi a delimita\u00e7\u00e3o do Endorreico Cubango-Okavango georreferenciando, sobreposto e recortada o ficheiro da bacia hidrogr\u00e1fica do Okavango com o ADP do Cuando Cubango e dos rios que o atravessam e por \u00faltimo foi feito a digitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o e mapeamento utilizando software computacional Arcgis 10.5 a composi\u00e7\u00e3o colorida RGB usando as imagens do per\u00edodo 2011 \u00e0 2015 do sat\u00e9lite Landsat-7 ETM + Bands e as imagens do per\u00edodo de 2015 \u00e0 2021 do sat\u00e9lite Landsat-8 OLI and TIRS Bands. Os resultados mostram que o Endorreico Cubango-Okavango ocupa uma \u00e1rea superior a 50% da superf\u00edcie total da prov\u00edncia do Cuando Cubando e apresenta o aumento da predomin\u00e2ncia das classes das savanas de 27,5% \u00e0 29,2% da \u00e1rea total do Endorreico e dessa \u00e1rea levou a ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o das matas tropicais e subtropicais reduzindo dos 15,1% para 12,3% de cobertura florestal.<\/p>

Studies aimed at land use and cover have become essential for understanding the ways in which the geographic space and its vegetation are being occupied and explored. Thus, the objective was to map the land use of the Cubango-Okavango Endorreico Sub-area of the Cuando Cubango, with a view to subsidizing improvements in the areas of environmental conservation and socioeconomic development in the region. The methodology adopted for the land cover use mapping was the delimitation of the Cubango-Okavango Endorreic georeferencing, overlaying and cropping the Okavango river basin file with the ADP of the Cuando Cubango and the rivers that cross it, and finally, the digitization and mapping using computer software Arcgis 10.5 the RGB color composition using images from the period 2011 to 2015 from the satellite Landsat-7 ETM + Bands and the images from the period from 2015 to 2021 from the satellite Landsat-8 OLI and TIRS Bands. The results show that the Cubango-Okavango Endorreico occupies an area greater than 50% of the total surface of the province of Cuando Cubando and shows an increase in the predominance of the savanna classes from 27.5% to 29.2% of the total area of the Endorreico and from this area led to the occupation of tropical and subtropical forests, reducing the forest cover from 15.1% to 12.3%<\/pre>
