O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar as mudan\u00e7as no uso e ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o do solo em uma \u00e1rea do semi\u00e1rido pernambucano. O estudo apreendeu-se em tr\u00eas imagens Landsat 5 e 8 entre os anos de 1998, 2008 e 2018 na Bacia Hidrogr\u00e1fica do rio Terra Nova. No ano de 1998, foi poss\u00edvel observar valores de NDVI entre (0,1 \u2013 0,4), evidenciando vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o de cobertura \u201crala\u201d. Em 2008, verifica-se NDVI com valores predominantes entre (0,1 \u2013 0,3), apresentando vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o de cobertura \u201crala\u201d e maiores \u00e1reas de solo exposto.\u00a0 No ano de 2018, os valores de NDVI predominantes ficaram entre (0,2 \u2013 0,4), classificando-se como vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o de cobertura \u201crala\u201d, se assemelhando ao ano de 1998. Os valores de NDVI apresentados evidenciam uma mudan\u00e7a na din\u00e2mica da cobertura vegetal da bacia, tamb\u00e9m foi poss\u00edvel observar a inser\u00e7\u00e3o de corpos h\u00eddricos atrav\u00e9s dos reservat\u00f3rios Nilo Coelho e Serra do Livramento provenientes do Projeto de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o do rio S\u00e3o Francisco (PISF).
